FAQ

The reception

  • The campsite (bare pitches) is open from April 30 to August 23, 2026 (weekends and bank holidays only in May and June).
  • The gîte (self-catering accommodation) is open year-round.
  • The mini-houses are available from April 1 to September 30, 2026.
  • Glamping tents can be booked from July 6 to August 22, 2026.

The reception office is open every day from 8am to 12:30pm and from 4pm to 7:30pm, during the campsite’s opening period.

Check-in is from 5 PM to 8 PM, and check-out is from 8 AM to 10 AM.

For camping stays on bare pitches, check-in is from 4 PM and check-out is before 12 PM.

44 pitches are spread over the 1.3 ha of the land (35 bare pitches for tents, vans or caravans + 9 mobile homes)

A parking area is reserved near the reception desk for people with reduced mobility, and a wheelchair is available upon request. Unfurnished pitches and accessible restroom facilities are also available.

Dogs are not allowed in the campsite (except assistance dogs).

Although the grounds are accessible to motorized vehicles, we invite our guests to limit their speed and movements in order to respect other campers and the serenity of the place, particularly between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Practical

The organization and services

A convenience store, hot drinks, local cold drinks (wine, beers, lemonades and colas) and in July and August sourdough bread and pastries baked on site every morning (by order the day before).

A children’s playground is located 100m outside the campsite. In the village of Arrens, 1.3km away (easily accessible on foot), you’ll also find a leisure centre with games and equipment for children, tennis courts, a pump track, a municipal swimming pool, as well as a pharmacy, a PROXI supermarket, washing machines and dryers, a butcher, bars and restaurants, a tourist office, and more.

The site does not have WIFI but you benefit from 4G or 5G mobile network coverage from all operators.

We accept gas or electric barbecues and griddles (max 6A / 1300W on the pitches). Open fire barbecues (charcoal) are prohibited on the grounds.

Connecting electric or hybrid electric vehicles to the campsite or accommodations’ electrical outlets is prohibited (fire hazard).

A suitable outlet for charging these vehicles (reinforced GreenUp 16A domestic outlet) is available upon reservation at the campsite. Electricity consumption will be billed at the end of your stay at the current rate.

Type 2 22kW charging stations are available in Arrens and Aucun (2 minutes away).

22kW, 50kW, and 120kW charging stations are also available in Argelès-Gazost (15 minutes away).

It is possible to deposit valuables in a safe at reception.

A waste sorting area is located at the entrance and composters for collecting biowaste are also available near the herb garden.

FAQ

Reservations, modifications and regulations

You can pay on site by payment card (see list and logos in the footer of the website), ApplePay, GooglePay, holiday vouchers (paper version or ANCV Connect), check, bank transfer or cash.

The tourist tax is collected on behalf of the Pyrénées Vallées des Gaves Community of Municipalities. It is automatically calculated when you book on our website. The rate is €0.86 per adult per night for stays in campsites, tents and mini-houses, and €1.30 per adult per night for stays in gîtes**.

The balance is due upon arrival for stays in mini-houses, cottages, or glamping tents.

The balance is due no later than 8 days before arrival for stays on bare pitches.

Contact the campsite by email or phone with all the information from your booking confirmation email.

Up to 60 days before your arrival in all accommodations and bare pitches, you can modify (subject to availability) or cancel your stay free of charge.

For stays in a tiny house or cottage, our optional cancellation insurance guarantees a refund of your stay in case of unforeseen circumstances before your arrival. It also covers you for trip interruptions, replacement vehicles, veterinary expenses, and more.

Without this insurance, if you cancel between 60 days before and the day of your arrival, you will be charged 30% of the total cost of your stay (deposit paid), and any changes will be subject to availability.

If you cancel or make a change on the day of arrival or during your stay, no further changes will be possible, and the full amount of your stay will be due on the day of arrival.

You can modify or cancel your stay free of charge up to 8 days or 24 hours before arrival if you have purchased the “Freedom 8 Days Before” or “Freedom 1 Day Before” options (excluding the option fee).

Without these options, if you cancel between 60 and 8 days before your arrival, you will be charged 30% of the total cost of your stay (deposit paid), and any changes will be subject to availability.

If you cancel less than 8 days before your arrival date (without any options purchased), changes will no longer be possible, and the full cost of your stay will be due.

FAQ

For stays in the mini-houses or the gîte

The cottage is fully furnished and ready to sleep; your bed will be made upon arrival and towels will be provided for the duration of your stay.

For your stay in the tiny house, you can choose to bring your own bed linen and towels or add the “sheets and towels” or “ready-to-sleep” options to your reservation.

Gite**

Subject to availability, you can borrow the following items free of charge from reception: ironing kit, hairdryer, outdoor games, electrical plug adapters, books and magazines, toaster, vacuum cleaner, pressure cooker, food processors, raclette grill, crepe pans, and pillows.

You can reserve the following optional extras for your stay: a baby kit (cot, high chair, and baby bath), an espresso machine with coffee pods, pastries, and bread (with the “Morning Treats” option), bed linen and towels, or have your bed made upon arrival.

For camping stays

Our eco-friendly sanitary modules are accessible with showers, toilets, sinks, and basins for washing dishes and laundry.

Our “COMFORT Motorhome” pitches are best suited for campervans (more stable ground and 10A electricity).

They are mandatory for vehicles over 5.6m long.

You have the option of emptying your grey and black water (cassette) and a water point is available within the campsite.

The municipal waste disposal and water refill service area is freely accessible 1km away.

FAQ

For stays in Glamping Tents

To make the most of your glamping tent getaways, you can opt for an early arrival from 2pm with the “Bonus Afternoon” option or a late departure until 1pm with the “Relaxing Morning” option.

No, in the glamping tents the beds are made upon your arrival (duvets) and towels are provided for the duration of your stay. No cleaning service is provided during your stay.

The tents are in a hotel room configuration; it is not possible to cook inside.
